Thank you so much for your interest in walking in Made to Be Known: Unveiled!
This evening is a sentimental, story-driven retrospective and fundraising gala celebrating 65+ handmade designs—tracing my entire journey as a self-taught fashion designer in Southern Oregon.
Together, we will share my evolution from learning to sew, navigating early motherhood, and opening up about the hardships, loneliness, and depression faced along the way, to stepping onto the stage for New York Fashion Week in February 2027. The runway show will showcase the designs in chronological order.
This event serves a dual purpose: it raises the necessary funds to bring my message of Made to Be Known to the runway in New York and beyond, while also laying the foundation to officially launch my brand afterward. My heart is to continue shining my light through my work and my dresses, using fashion design as a vessel to tell stories of hope.
We are casting 60-70 community female model volunteers of all backgrounds to help bring this living timeline to life and walk a piece down the runway! No professional modeling experience is required—just enthusiasm, a heart for community storytelling, and a willingness to walk in a piece of art. Models will be cast based on size matching for archive garments dating back to 2019 and beyond, ranging from XS to XL, with many pieces featuring adjustable corset backs.
